A cabinet pull being off-center will bother some people until it becomes the loudest thing in the kitchen, and that is not a metaphor if you have the right kitchen.

I keep thinking about jobs I did
I am not exactly advertising right now. I was looking for a washer in a coffee can and found three old screws, a receipt from a cabinet job, and one of those little pencils that is too short to respect, and then I started remembering jobs again. That is how this site gets fed I guess,, same as birds but with invoices.
Cabinets and shelves
I can usually tell when a cabinet is not being honest with the wall,, because the door starts acting like it has a secret.
Doors and hinges
A door will keep its problem private for months and then suddenly everyone is involved, including one woman with iced tea and no shoes.
Garages and closets
Boxes, shelves, hooks, and extension cords that have started a second life. Also closets with TOO much light in them sometimes.
Odd small jobs
If it needs one tool and then somehow three more,, that is often where I came in. Not bragging. That is how small jobs reproduce.

Under the sink at a client's place
A client said there was moisture under her sink and she did not like the word moisture. I told her I understood because it is one of the worse words.
A cabinet job I did a few years back
I was thinking today about a job I did a few years ago. Knees worked better then and I had more hair and the cabinet would NOT stay shut.
A shelf in a walk-in closet
I got asked to look at a shelf in a walk-in closet that had given up on one side. Shelves do that when they are carrying more sweaters than lumber science allows.
